Cologne Germany, 18 May 2009 Spühl AG of Switzerland, an international market leader for the manufacturing of mattress and upholstery springs and spring units has impressed the international community with it's innovative and user friendly manufacturing solution displayed at the Interzum Furniture Trade Fair held in Cologne from 13 -16 May 2009. Judged by their peers, the CS-525 DUAL technology was awarded the prize for most innovative manufacturing solution in the furniture and bedding sector. The DUAL technology allows zoning of different comfort levels by varying spring hardnesses in consecutive springs during automatic mattress spring unit assembly, using wires of different diameter. This world first technology clearly demonstrates the innovative approach of Spühl AG to the challenges faced by their customers. During the INTERZUM, Spühl AG also officially announced the appointment of Greenacres Holdings (Pty) Ltd as their new representative in the Southern African Development Community, an emerging market consisting of 15 countries in the Southern African Continent.
